I’m traveling this week so just a quick post from my notebook, and a small request.
I recently started collecting screenshots of ads I see for journalism, as part of a larger effort to define what news is/should be/claims to be.
Apparently, news can help me:
Trust my decisions
Be represented
Confront the climate crisis
Get smarter in 5 minutes a day
Be with me
Talk to people (or about what people are talking about?)
Stay informed on things people try to silence

Note: I’m intentionally collecting the ads that reach me (on social or because I clicked to a site and it popped up), rather than going and looking for them.
